State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.
Troopers said about 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, Diane Potcher, 58, of Kunkletown, was operating a 2001 Ford Focus along Silver Springs Road, at Smale Lane, in Eldred Township, Monroe County, when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. The DUI charge is pending, troopers said. Damages were termed severe to the vehicle.
Also on Tuesday, about 8:40 p.m., James Gerard Fallon, 68, of Kunkletown, was stopped along Polk Township Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.
On Wednesday, April 25, about 6:44 p.m. Frank G. Pimm, 48, of Kunkletown, was involved in a verbal argument with an individual at the intersection of SR209 and Polk Township Road, in Polk Township. Pimm then followed the other person in his vehicle and was observed by troopers driving erratically.
He was stopped and found to be under the influence and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers added.
