Live animals will be featured today starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Tamaqua Elementary School during a live show via performers with "The Rain Forest" group.

Touring under the name "Live on Stage, The Rain Forest", the show will offer sight and sounds of the Amazon region and offer people a chance to see exotic birds, monkeys, alligators, jungle cats and snakes.

Other showings will be held April 24 at the Peters Elementary School in Slatington at 7 p.m., April 25 at the Lehighton Area Middle School at 6:30 p.m., April 26 at the Drums Elementary/Middle School at 7 p.m. and the S.S. Palmer Elementary School in Palmerton at 6:30 p.m. A donation of $5 will be taken at the door. Children under 3 don't require donations.
