Kimberly Rodgers and Trevor Kunkle are wed

Kimberly Rodgers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weaver of Minersville, became the bride of Trevor Kunkle, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bloom of Lehighton, on March 24, 2012 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lehighton.

Pastor Marshall Wolverton officiated at the double ring ceremony. Nathan Foeller was the organist and Laura Foeller was the vocalist.Given in marriage by her stepfather Jack Weaver Jr., the bride chose her mother, Rhonda Weaver to be her matron of honor.Bridesmaids included Tracie Lechleitner, Minersville; Taylor Minnich, Parryville; Ashlie Mabry, Pottsville; Jacquie Bell, Pottsville; and Penny Elasser, Lehighton.The bridegroom chose Kyle Elasser of Lehighton to perform the duties of best man.Ushers included Robert Jobrey, Minersville; Adam Tobias, Jim Thorpe; Mark Tappen, Lehighton; Michael Kunkle, Parryville; and Jack Weaver, Minersville.Following the wedding, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Orioles Community Center in Lehighton.Prenuptial parties included a bridal shower in Minersville, hosted by the mother of the bride.The new Mrs. Kunkle is a 1995 graduate of Minersville Area High School and is currently studying psychology at Axia University. She is employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Mr. Kunkle is a 1990 graduate of Lehighton High School. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. He is currently employed by PPL-Pomeroy.The newlyweds currently reside in Lehighton.
