Rush Township planning commission met Thursday evening to prepare recommendations for supervisors to add a subdivision to Robert and Andrea Dunn's property, owners of the Hometown Farmers Market.

To date, the property does not have an intended purpose. The possibility of renovating it to accommodate parking was discussed, but nothing was finalized. Minor issues were addressed concerning access points on private roads near the property, which is located near Hanes Company warehouse and the farmers market in Hometown.Although the commission approved several waiver suggestions, plans for the subdivision need to be revised, submitted and approved by supervisors, who will address them at the next meeting on Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. in the municipal building.The next planning commission meeting is scheduled for Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. in the municipal building.
