Lehighton police reported that bad check charges have been filed against two individuals for separate incidents in the borough.

Police said David Wetzell, 50, of 1945 Hickory Rd., Palmerton, was cited for issuing a bad check to Mallard Market on Aug. 1, in the amount of $84.74.Constance Landis, 55, of 542 Mahoning St., Lehighton, was cited for issuing a bad check to the Lehighton Animal Hospital on June 1 in the amount of $180.
