The Class of 1951 of Palmerton High School hosted it's 60-year reunion at a luncheon at the Blue Ridge Country Club on Sept. 10. Thirty-two people attended out of a possible 81 classmates. Josie Siverski Babyak led the class in a moment of silence and paid tribute to the 31 classmates who have died. Stanley Partel, Arizona, received a subscription to The Scribe newspaper, published by the Palmerton Historical Society, for coming the farthest. Alice Britto DiMeglio, Minnesota, was recognized for never having missed a reunion.
