The Lansford Police Department has been investigating numerous thefts from vehicles and homes throughout the summer. The thefts have been occurring at all times of the day and night. Items that have been taken range from loose change to laptops to GPS units.

Residents are reminded to keep their cars and residences locked even if it is for only a brief period of time that they are unoccupied. Some residents have contacted police regarding individuals looking in vehicles and residences days after the incidents occurred. Anyone who sees any strange activity, day or night, is asked to call police immediately at (570) 645-5844.
