The GFWC Western Pocono Women's Club is a service organization that has helped the West End community for 40 years. Their West End Fair food stand is their only fund raiser. The money earned at this stand is returned to the local community. Some, but not all, of their donations are given to Angel's Closet at Pocono Medical Center, Chemical Free Graduation Party, Equi-Librium, the five West End area fire companies, local food banks, two high school scholarships, Meals on Wheels, Operation: Touch of Home, Salvation Army, West End Ambulance, West End Community Library, Women's Resources, and the West End Regional Park. They donate to all age groups and a wide variety of organizations.

The club meets the third Monday of the month at Effort United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.
