Break-ins, theft incident probed

State police at Lehighton reported investigating three burglaries and a theft incident.

Troopers are investigating a break-in at the residence at 28 Andrew Drive, Penn Forest Township, that occurred sometime between Jan. 29 and 25. The home is owned by Charles Harry Woodring, 69, of Whitehall. It was not indicated if anything was taken.A residence along Blue Ridge Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, owned by Brenda Schroder, of Stroudsburg, was entered sometime between Jan. 13 and 24. Removed was a log splitter from the garage.The residence of Leonard Edward Andrezski, 61, at 146 Chicola Lake South, Ross Township, was entered sometime between Dec. 22, 2013, and Jan. 29. Entry was gained by forcing the front door open. Once inside the criminals proceeded to trash the home while searching for valuables.No items were reported missing.The theft incident was reported by David Scott Pieri, of 29 Jeans Drive, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township. He reported oil was stolen from his oil tank at the home. The theft was reported at 11 p.m. on Jan. 22.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
