The Weatherly Rotary Club will host a Meet the Candidates Night this Thursday, Oct. 20, at Weatherwood, Evergreen Avenue, Weatherly.

The event, co-sponsored by the Weatherly Area Community Library and Guardian ElderCare, will feature candidates running for Carbon County Commissioner and row offices, Weatherly council and mayor, Lehigh Township supervisor, and Weatherly Area School Board. Packer and Lausanne Township supervisor candidates have been invited.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. for the Carbon County candidates, followed by a meet and greet social, and then the Weatherly Borough council and mayor, Lehigh, Packer and Lausanne township supervisors, and Weatherly School Board candidates will speak.

There will be refreshments available.

The event is free, and open to all Weatherly area voters. There is plenty of well-lighted parking and easy handicap access.
