This year's Carbon County Veterans Day Parade will be held in Jim Thorpe at 2 p.m., on Nov. 6. The rain date is Nov. 13.

Registration forms have been sent out to various organizations to see if they are interested in participating. The deadline for these forms to be submitted is Oct. 23. Organizations that received the form should return them as soon as possible.If an organization did not receive the registration form and would like to participate in the parade, contact Henry Desrosiers, director of the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office, at (570) 325-3986, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
