The Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimers Association is sponsoring a Walk to End Alzheimers Saturday, October 8th as part of the Altzheimers Family Fun Festival & Walk.
All Walk to End Alzheimers donations benefit the Alzheimer's Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research.
The mission of the Alzheimers Association is to eliminate Alzheimers disease through the advancement of research and to provide and enhance care and support for all affected.
The event will be held at the Koch Wildoner pavilion from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m.at Mauch Chunk Lake Park (MCLP) along Lentz Trail in Jim Thorpe.
