Jerry Feathers, 31, of Tamaqua, was arrested Wednesday morning, Nov. 23, after an apparent early morning visit to see his son.

Police were dispatched to 218 Washington St. at 4:20 a.m. for a report of an unwanted person. On scene they found Feathers banging on the rear door and yelling loudly. He was taken into custody and placed in the patrol car while another officer spoke to the residents of the house, Feathers' mother, Corinne, and Amber Murphy, the mother of his son.

Mrs. Feathers told officers her son was allowed to have supervised visits with his son but not at 4 a.m. and she wanted him removed from the property.

He was cited for disorderly conduct after spending several hours in the cell block.
