The Tamaqua Public Library is showcasing three mini exhibits of work created by local artists.

In the lobby, visitors will find the work of David Hafer, which includes a model train exhibit. There are also 11 vintage photos of Tamaqua and the surrounding area.

Jeff Rimm's work can be found in the Reading Room. On display are framed works ranging from pen and ink sketches to photographs of local places, such as the Rabbit Run Reservoir and the Tamaqua Train Station.

Entries from the Lions Club Peace Poster Contest are displayed in the adult non-fiction area. A total of 24 posters were submitted by students in the Tamaqua Area School District and St. Jerome's Regional School.

The library is closed Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
