Erin Elizabeth O'Gurek, daughter of William and Siobhan O'Gurek of Summit Hill, became the bride of Stephen Bariexca, son of Stephen Jr. and Gail Bariexca of Summit, N.J., during a Mass and wedding ceremony held on June 18, 2011 at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church of the campus of Villanova University, Montgomery County. The Rev. David Cregan officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Celena Griffith, Jim Thorpe, as her maid of honor, and Jennilee Kosciolek of Summit Hill, her cousin, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Bariexca and Tracy Bariexca, both of Summit, the bridegroom's sisters; Trish O'Gurek of Summit Hill, her cousin; and Ashley Shickora of Hometown.Ava Kosciolek, Summit Hill, was the junior bridesmaid. Callie Kosciolek, Summit Hill, the goddaughter of the bride, was the flower girl.The bridegroom chose Brian Beamer and Jeffrey Corbett, both of Summit, as his best men. Ushers were Billy O'Gurek, brother of the bride, and Brian Dolena, cousin of the bride, both of Summit Hill; Mark Wyand, of Rochester, N.Y.; and Paul Nestor of Mansfield, Mass. Adam Kosciolek, Jim Thorpe, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony, the couple greeted family and friends at a reception held at the Talamore Country Club, Ambler, Pa.The bride is a 2003 graduate of Marian High School, Hometown, and a 2008 graduate of Villanova University, where she received a bachelor of science in nursing degree. A registered nurse, she is employed in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.Mr. Bariexca is a 2003 graduate of Summit High School, Summit, and a 2007 graduate of Villanova University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. He is employed by Merck, Inc., as a manufacturing engineer.The couple enjoyed wedding trips to the New York Finger Lakes region and also traveled to Greece.The new Mrs. Bariexca was the guest of honor at a bridal shower held at the Mahoning Valley Country Club, Lehighton, which was hosted by her mother, mother-in-law and bridesmaids.The couple is residing in Philadelphia.
