Two Summit Hill young men, both 22 , had a miraculous escape from possible death at 8:40 a.m. today, when the Graham-Paige sedan they were riding in went out of control in attempting to negotiate the sharp curve on the Mauch Chunk-Nesquehoning highway, a short distance from the Liberties, and plummeted 50 feet over the embankment after upending three steel rails supporting a road guard. They are William Sorber, who sustained a laceration of the right eye and an injury to the ankle, and William Gateus, who received a laceration on the face.
