Christine A. Fauzio won the Democrat's nod for supervisor candidate in Penn Forest Township, yesterday.
She defeated opponents Harry J. Connolly and Keith L. Knappenberger in party voting.
Fauzio netted 149 votes, Connolly got 122 votes, and Knappenberger recevied 112 votes.
She will oppose Republican Salvatore L. Baldassano, who wasn't opposed, in November.. He got 284 votes.
For a six-year term as auditor, Donna M. Briglio won over Coletta Oshin, 227-80, on the Democratic ticket.
Briglio also bested Oshin in voting for a two-year auditor term, with the vote eing 158-152.
There were no Republican candidates for auditor.
