Nicholas Kerstetter, 27, of 121 Pitt St., Tamaqua, was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer, Tamaqua, on Tuesday on charges related to an alleged indecent assault on May 2. The victim disclosed the incident to Tamaqua High School Principal Steve Toth on May 3, stating that Kerstetter came to her home to pick up something, then touched her inappropriately when he was leaving. He allegedly refused to stop despite her pleas. Kerstetter cooperated with authorities and was escorted to his arraignment by Patrolman Michael Hobbs and Cpl. Henry Woods. Bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000.
