Two persons escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:10 a.m. March 14 on Route 534 in Penn Forest Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said the accident happened near the entrance to the Indian Mountain Lakes development.Police said Veronica Pietkiel, 35, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound when she lost control of the vehicle on an icy roadway. The vehicle traveled across the oncoming lane and overturned onto its roof.A passenger, Alexai Pietkiel, 8, was with the driver at the time.The vehicle was towed from the scene.
