State police at the Lehighton barracks said they were summoned to a simple assault incident when three youths were involved in an altercation at 5:45 p.m. March 15 at 615 Franklin St. in that community.

Police said a 12-year-old girl threw a razor scooter at a 10-year-old boy, who required treatment for minor injuries he sustained. Two 12-year-old boys were also at the scene at the time, police said.Police said that due to the ages of the participants, charges will not be filed in the incident.
