On Saturday, March 12, the West End Kiwanis Club will be bringing a little bit of Las Vegas to the area as they host their Sixth Annual Casino Night fundraising event at the Kunkletown Vol. Fire Co.'s social hall.

Everyone over the age of 18 is invited to come out and play their favorite card games from Black Jack to Texas Hold 'Em. You can also try your luck at Craps, Roulette and Pokeno.

There will be 50/50 raffles, a Silent Auction and a regular auction at the end of the night for you to spend your winnings.

Everyone will go home a winner.

The doors will open for refreshments at 6 p.m. provided by the Kunkletown Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and the games will start at 7 p.m. The gaming will stop at 10 p.m. and the regular auction for assorted prizes will begin at that time. The Pot O' Gold grand prize, valued at a minimum of $500 will be auctioned off last.

"The Kiwanis Club of the West End raises money to help the children in need of the West End of Monroe County. All money raised stays in the West End, to benefit our children," says the club's president, Bob Meyer.

The Kiwanis Club has sponsored scholarships for college bound students, helped with exercise machines for special needs children, donated money to help the Drama Club of the PV High School to purchase items for their productions, as well as helping neighborhood non-profit groups continue their good works for the children of the West End.

They invite you to take this great opportunity to have a lot of fun and help the children of the West End.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling Bob Meyer at 570-236-6767. Tickets are available at the door. The West End Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday morning at Cherry's Sunset Diner at 7:30 a.m. in the Banquet Room.
