Two area swimmers have earned top seeds for this weekend's District 11 Class AA swimming championships.

Northwestern's Madison Burns is ranked No. 1 in two events the 200 IM and the 100 breast.Tamaqua's Joann Butkus has also earned a top seed, gaining the best time in the 50 free.Karoline Vavra of Panther Valley earned two No. 2 seeds, entering both the 100 breast and 50 free with the second fastest times.The only other area individual to gain a second seed is Weatherly's Matt Cullen in the 50 free.Below are the top three seeds in each event.GIRLS200 medley relay - 1.
