Two local students were named to Susquehanna University's dean's list for the spring 2011 semester.

The dean's list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Guy Bowe of Tamaqua, a 2011 graduate who majored in economics and accounting, is a 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Senior High School and the son of Jeffrey and Rea Bowe.

Jaime Price of Nesquehoning, a 2011 graduate who majored in business administration with emphases in marketing and entrepreneurship, is a 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and the daughter of Kevin and Lauri Price.
