The trail is four and a half miles long and is moderate in difficulty. It winds through several diverse habitats and has a view of Tuscarora Lake cove.
Participants will meet in the upper beach parking lot near the trailhead.
Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and get along well with people and other pets.
Registration for the hike is required by calling Robin Tracey, environmental education specialist, at (570) 467-2506 or visiting dcnr.state.pa.us, under calendar of events.
The hike will only be held in good weather.
