Northern Lehigh School District is in the hunt for a new business manager.

The school board, on a 7-0 vote at a special meeting on Friday, agreed to accept the resignation of business Manager Jeremy Melber. Directors Mathias Green and Lauren Ganser were absent.Melber, who became Northern Lehigh's business manager in 2008, has accepted a position as the new director of business services in the Southern Lehigh School District.Contacted this morning, board secretary Sherri Molitoris told the TIMES NEWS the district has advertised to fill the position.Molitoris said candidates who would like to fill the position may submit their letter of interest, resume and clearances to the office of the superintendent by July 14.The next board meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 8, in the new district office board room.
