Mahoning police issues reports

Mahoning Township Police Chief Kenneth Barnes released activity for his department for the months of April and May in Mahoning Township.

For April, 357 Incident reports filed; one reportable traffic accident investigated; one non-reportable accident investigated; three private property accidents investigated; 102 traffic citations issued; 13 non-traffic citations issued; seven parking violation issued; and five adult criminal arrests.For May, 393 incident reports filed; three non-reportable; traffic accidents investigated; 117 traffic citations issued; 12 non-traffic citations issued; one parking violation issued; and seven adult criminal arrests.Criminal investigation and or arrests in April and May included: thefts, retail thefts, mental health warrants, domestic disturbances, protection from abuse orders, trespassing, Megan's Law follow up.Also, vandalism, DUI'S, disorderly conduct, harassment, suicide, other death investigations, fleeing or eluding police, drug act violations, drug overdose, false ID to law enforcement, dog laws investigations, road rage, credit card fraud, public drunkenness, stolen motorcycle, access device fraud, assaults, juvenile runaways and cruelty to animal investigation.
