Bigfoot captivates Tamaqua

Bigfoot Monster Truck driver Larry Swim entertained more than 800 spectators as he crushed and jumped over cars at the train station parking lot located on North Railroad Street, Tamaqua, as part of the 'Charity Starts at Home' Festival held Saturday.

Immediately following the car crush, spectators had the opportunity to get their photos taken with Bigfoot and the driver for a small donation.Bigfoot's visit, which cost about $5,000, was sponsored by Tire Pros, Firestone and Bridgestone.In addition to all the car crush volunteers and sponsors, Zach Estojak, car crush organizer, stated his appreciation for the local businesses that donated the cars for the crush.
