A Schuylkill County woman was jailed on Tuesday, May 10, on several charges following an incident that occurred along a county roadway.

State police at Schuylkill Haven identified the woman as Stephanie Lee Enders, 30, of Schuylkill Haven. Troopers said the incident occurred along SR209 just outside Tremont in Tremont Township, between 9:32 and 10:11 a.m.

Troopers said Enders attempted to forced another vehicle off the road with her car while northbound at the above-stated location. She also threw an object into the right side rear passenger door. She continued to follow the vehicle and was apprehended by troopers as the two vehicles were approaching SR901 in Branch Township.

Troopers identified the occupants of the other vehicle as Allen Enders, 44, and two children, a boy, 3, and girl, 2, all of Schuylkill Haven, and Jonas Freeman, 22, of Tremont.

Troopers said Enders was charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She was arraigned before District Judge Carol A. Pankake, of Tremont, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $10,000 straight cash bail.
