Jorge L. Ortiz Jr., 26, of Macungie, has been arrested by state police at the Fogelsville barracks for driving under the influence of drugs, an Act 64 offense.

The incident happened at 2:56 a.m. July 27 at the intersection of Scenic View and Hunt drives in Lower Macungie Township.police said he was stopped for a traffic violation, after which time police learned he was driving under the influence of drugs and was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.In addition to the DUI charge, he was arrested for possession of an illegal substance and related traffic offenses.
