Lindsay Shoff weds David Chiavaroli

Lindsay Shoff, daughter of Glenn and Mary Karen Shoff of Tamaqua, became the bride of David Chiavaroli, son of Daniel R. and Gayle Chiavaroli of Nazareth, on July 2, 2011, at St. John's UCC, Nazareth. The Rev. Curtis Kemmerer officiated the double ring ceremony. Susan Frickert was the organist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Candice Semasek of Mojave, Calif., formerly of Tamaqua; and Elisha Kitchen of Hancock, Mich, as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Strouse of Easton, Ashley Milkovitz of Allentown and Christa Miller of Tamaqua.Michael Alwan of Nazareth served as the best man. Groomswoman was Deborah Mast of Cherry Hill, N.J., formerly of Stockertown. Groomsmen were Daniel J. Chiavaroli of Chapel Hill, N.C., formerly of Nazareth; and Matthew Schulze of Nairobi, Africa, formerly of Nazareth.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at Penn's Peak, Jim Thorpe.The newlyweds are planning a honeymoon to St. Lucia this winter.The rehearsal dinner was held at Vintage Restaurant at the Club at Morgan Hill, Easton.The new Mrs. Chiavaroli is the granddaughter of George and Nellie Wenzel of Tamaqua. She is a 2002 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School; as well as a graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she earned her associate degree in applied science; and Lock Haven University, where she earned her bachelor of science. She is employed as an occupational therapy assistant by HCR ManorCare in Easton.Mr. Chiavaroli is the grandson of Arthur Chiavaroli of Shamokin. He is a 1997 graduate of Nazareth High School, and a 2001 graduate of Northampton Community College. He is employed by Millwright Local 1906.The newlyweds now reside in Nazareth.
