The Tamaqua Blue 11-12 Year old All Star team clinched the Panther Valley Tournament Championship with a 9-3 win over Towamensing last Friday.

Eddie Titus and Tanner Hamm combined for 10 strikeouts while giving up only five hits to Towamensing. Monte Baez had two hits while Jake Taschler, Spencer Moyer and Hayden Kresge had the other three for Towamensnig.Tamaqua's Tanner Hamm and Teague Schmidt each had three hits, while Schmidt was a home run away from the cycle. Ethan Kuczynski and Brady Akins each had two hits, while Noah Evans and Mitch Miller each had one in Tamaqua's 12-hit attack.Tamaqua Blue finished the tournament with a perfect 6-0 records to claim the championship.
