Nesquehoning police reported on citations being issued by various officers.
Officer Thomas Kurtz issued 24 speeding citations at Oak St. and SR209 during the period of July 7 to 14. Speeds varied from as high as 50 miles-per-hour in a 25 zone. Other speeds noted were 46, 45, 43, 42 and 40. A citation was also issued for a red light violation at Mermon and SR209.
Kurtz also cited Thomas Boyle, of 249 E. Abbott St., Lansford, for driving with a suspended license.
Officer Timothy Wuttke issued two citations for tire equipment and an expired inspection sticker.
Officer Brian White issued two speeding citations at Cemetery Road and SR209 for speeds of 57 and 56 in a 40 zone.
Officer Dane O'Brien issued two red light citations at Mermon and SR209.
