State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an attempted burglary at a Schuylkill County business.

The incident occurred ate Russo's Pizza, located at 1353 Centre Turnpike (SR61), in West Brunswick Township, on Wednesday, March 31, about 2 a.m.Troopers said unknown criminals attempted to gain entry to the building by prying open a rear door. Unable to open it they went to the front and smashed the glass on the door which caused an audible alarm to go off apparently scaring them away.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
