He and Lucille made arrangements for a banking convention in Nashville and received several letters of congratulations for a job well done

President of the Association of Community Banks

On the board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh

National director of Independent Community Bankers Association of America and director of its Mortgage Corporation Board

Hosted two Siberian bankers who were observing banking methods

Member of the Lehigh County Community College Foundation Board

President of Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society

Active in many positions at Ebenezer Church

Served on the vacancy board and sewer authority for Lynn Township

Treasurer of the Community Fire Co., New Tripoli

Founding member of the Northwestern Lehigh Foundation.
