Following a two-month narcotics trafficking investigation, three individuals from Tobyhanna were all arrested by the Pocono Mountain Regional police during the week of Feb. 13.

In the course of the investigation Jerome Cash Davies, 22, and Gina Cello, 18, were identified as alleged local drug dealers residing at 1224 Winding Way in Tobyhanna. Following the execution of two search warrants, both were arrested on Feb. 17 in Coolbaugh Township.During the investigation police seized almost 10 grams of crack cocaine and quantities of marijuana packaged for street level dealing. Police also seized two vehicles and approximately $1,000 in U.S. currency as a result of the investigation which will be subject to forfeiture. Additionally, a semiautomatic 12 gauge shotgun was located in the home and later identified as a stolen firearm from New York.Another resident at the address, who was identified as Eric Bowens, 41, was also arrested as a person not to possess firearms due to felony convictions which would prohibit him to possess firearms in the state.Charges for all three were filed through the office of District Judge Anthony D. Fluegel, of Tobyhanna, and all will face preliminary hearings there in the future.Bowens was charged with person not to possess firearms and receiving stolen property and committed to Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail.Davis and Cello were both charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and marijuana, criminal conspiracy, criminal use of a communication device, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis, who is currently out on parole for drug and gun related convictions, was committed to the county prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.A detainer was also placed on Davis for the parole violation.Cello was committed to the prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
