A Schuylkill County family fell victim to a scam on Thursday and it resulted in a sizable loss of money and jewelry.
State police at Schuylkill Haven identified the victims as the Murray family who reside at 2093 Fair Rd., in Wayne Township, Schuylkill Haven.

The entire incident took about 20 minutes, troopers said.
The following description was given for the three suspects. The male who first exited the vehicle was light skinned, wearing a baseball cap, light beard, about five-feet, four-inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds, soft-spoken and no discernable accent.
The second male, seated in the front passenger side, was white , no other description; and the third, the driver, was a white male, possibly with eyeglasses, no other description.
