When Debbie Donnon and husband George moved to Schuylkill County from the Downingtown area, it was to take ownership of a Lewistown Valley farm.
With that business up and running, Donnon has now ventured into the gift and floral business. On Monday, she opened Guy's Flowers & More, a 1,200-square-feet floral and gift center and the first business to open in the up-and-coming Hometown Village Square, formerly Agosti's IGA, Claremont Avenue, Route 309, north of Tamaqua.
The Rush Township shop features fresh and dried flowers, arrangements, plants, candles and will even include a line of Alpaca clothing.
Donnon says she wants area residents to come in and see what the shop can do.
"I want people to come in and browse."
The shop showcases Donnon's skills, along with the extraordinary talents of designer and decorator Cathy Miller
