The Lehighton Area Democrats will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Democratic Information Center, 186 S. First St., Lehighton.

The guest speaker will be Linda Christman, M.P.A., discussing “Public Employees Compensation: Issues and Problems.”

Christman served as town manager of Fairfax, California, and Assistant County Administrator of Marin County, where she led the county’s Strategic Plan Implementation.
