Donning Hawaiian attire, members of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Tamaqua held their fifth annual 'First Gift' Community Christmas Program at their church.
Presented by parishioners and volunteers, the free community event is held every year and open to all families and children up to age 11.
"We hold this holidy event free to the community to spread the true meaning of Christmas – the celebration of Christ's birth," said Pastor Ed Noftz.
In addition to providing prizes, singing carols, playing games and dancing, children were entertained with a puppet show starring Savannah, who talked with Pastor Noftz and his wife Rosemarie about the purpose of peace.
