Santa and Mrs. Claus were guests of honor at the annual Western Pocono Lioness Club Breakfast with Santa held at Salem UCC in Gilbert.

In addition to the children greeting and meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and having their picture taken with the duo in red, they had a breakfast of pancakes and sausage, juice and milk, and could also have their face painted by Elf Kim Hoffman, write letters to Santa, and receive gifts from the Lioness.

The Western Pocono Lions Club provided cooks, and both Lions and Lioness accomplished other kitchen chores, while a pride of Lioness served the guests and guided them to various activities.

Lioness Club president Virginia Lamendola says that Mr. & Mrs. Claus were a big hit with the children (aka John Dabour and Lioness Joyce Castillo) and that all had a good time.

Even adults came by themselves just to have breakfast and talk to Santa.
