State police at Fern Ridge reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

Troopers said about 11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, Forrest Leroy Furry Jr., 37, of Albrightsville, was stopped along SR115 at Meixell Valley Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, for traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence and was taken to the barracks for a breath test. He was later released. Charges are pending, troopers said.

On Sunday, Dec. 4, about 1:34 a.m. troopers stopped Francis Elliot Jr., 36, of Albrightsville, along SR903 in Kidder Township, Carbon County, for traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence and was taken to the barracks for a breath test.

Troopers said charges are pending.
