A PennDOT truck was struck by another vehicle along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Brian Switay, of Port Monmouth, N.J., was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala westbound in the left lane about 2:34 p.m. on Nov. 28 and approaching a merge point into the right lane traffic only.Troopers said Switay failed to move into the right lane and the front of his car hit the rear of a 2004 Interndational truck being used by PennDOT for traffic control. John Switzer, of Pocono Pines, was operating the truck.No injuries were reported.
