The Tamaqua Lady Raider Soccer Boosters have selected their major project for the 2011-2012 school year. The club will be focusing its efforts on providing covered benches, for the home and visiting team, at the school district's soccer field.They will be helped in their efforts by the South Ward Playground Association, which will sponsor a mini Chinese Auction and social games this Sunday, Aug. 28, at the Tamaqua Community Center, 233 Center St. Doors open at noon.
