A Schuylkill County crash involved two trucks. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the accident occurred about 4:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, along SR443 at the entrance to the Pilot Truck Stop, in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said Donald J. Fanning, 43, of Burbank, Calif., was operating a 2011 Kenworth truck tractor with trailer and attempting to pull out of the truck stop to go east on 443.As he was turning the drivers' side of the trailer struck the front driver's door of a 2008 Ford F550 truck operated by Matthew G. Frantz, 35, of Pine Grove, who was westbound at the time.No one was injured. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.Troopers said Fanning was charged with causing the crash.
