A son, Vance Samuel Logan, was born at 7:22 p.m. on July 15, 2011 at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth to Samantha and LCDR Nino Logan of Virginia Beach, Va.

He weighed 7 pounds and measured 19.5 inches long.He was welcomed home by his older brother, Xander, 4.Maternal grandparents are Sam and Michele Kitchko of Nesquehoning.Paternal grandparents are Nino and Deb Logan of Brashear, Texas.Maternal great-grandmother is the late Anna Kitchko, formerly of Nesquehoning.Paternal great-grandmother is Mary Rose Colancecco of Danville.
