A Tamaqua man has been cited after causing a disturbance in the borough on July 23.
Jesse Michael Lincovich, 30, of 323 W. Broad St., was on West Rowe Street at 3:30 a.m. and appoached officers who had made a traffic stop. Lincovich began yelling and screaming, approaching the officers in an aggravated state. He became uncooperative and began cursing when officers attempted to question him.
Noting an odor of alcohol emanating from Lincovich the officer took him into custody.
He was released at 4:30 p.m. with citations for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
