State police at Lehighton reported investigating two burglaries and several acts of criminal mischief in recent days.

Troopers said on Monday, April 18, about 11:25 p.m. an unknown criminal smashed the south side entry/exit glass door of TB's 903 Pub, located at 874 SR903, in Penn Forest Township, Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, and entered the building. As the intruder approached the bar area the owner, not identified by troopers, yelled at him and the criminal fled.

Troopers are probing a break-in that occurred along Park Drive, in Franklin Township, Carbon County. A residence was entered and rummaged through. Taken was money and jewelry, troopers said. The home is owned by Donald Hahn, of Lehighton, and the incident occurred sometime between Dec. 22, 2010, and Sunday, April 17.

The following criminal mischief incidents were probed.

Tiffany Ann Dorn, 33, of 1 Grassy Lane, Kresgeville, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone slashed all four tires on her Pontiac Grand Prix while parked at the residence. The incident occurred sometime between April 11 at 9 p.m. and April 12 at 7 a.m.

The passenger side rear tire on a car parked at the Palmerton Area High School, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, was cut. The incident was reported by a 17-year-old male student from Palmerton. The incident was reported at 4 p.m. on April 14.

The vinyl siding on a home along Blackberry Lane, in Penn Forest Township, was damaged by unknown persons sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 11, troopers reported. A pellet gun was used in the incident.

The front windshield on a car was cracked by unknown persons while parked along White Street in Weissport, Carbon County, sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. on April 13.

Also in Weissport, an incident occurred at 9:40 a.m. on Friday, Apirl 15. Richard Paul Swayer III, 28, of Weissport, allegedly kicked the door to the apartments at 220 White St., causing about $75 in damages to a door jam. The listed victim is Dennis Mejias, of Weissport.

Sawyer was charged with criminal mischief, troopers said.

Troopers also reported investigating an incident of scrattering rubbish.

The incident occurred along Burger Hollow Road at Hook Lane, in Polk Township. Unknown persons dumped about 44 vehicle tires onto the road at the above location. The incident occurred overnight of Friday, April 15, and Saturday.
