Lorrie Bretzger and Chad Snyder, along with their parents, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joanne and Michael Bretzger of Effort.She graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 2005.A graduate of Kutztown University, she is employed as an English teacher at Pleasant Valley High School.The prospective groom is the son of Robin Snyder of Kunkletown and Roy Snyder of Slatington. He is also a 2005 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, and a graduate of Johnson College.He is employed as an automotive technician at Cal's Tire and Auto.The couple is planning a wedding for June 2012.
