Allow a little extra time to get where you're going next week. The state Department of Transportation has announced the following projects in Carbon County:

*LEHIGH GORGE DRIVE: Workers will be sealing cracks on Lehigh Gorge Drive between Route 93 and the Luzerne County line in Packer Township from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 4-8. The work will require lane restriction with flagging.

*ROUTE 248: Workers will be doing bridge repair on Route 248 between Bowmanstown and Parryville from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 4-8. The westbound lane will be restricted.

*DINKEY ROAD: workers will be patching pot holes on Dinkey Road between Mahoning Mountain Road and West Lizard Creek Road in Mahoning Township from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 4-6. There will be lane restriction with flagging.

*LAUREL ROAD: workers will be sealing cracks in Laurel Road between the Schuylkill County line and Jim Thorpe Borough in Summit Hill from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 4-8. The work will require lane restriction with flagging.

*MAHONING MOUNTAIN ROAD: workers will be patching pot holes on Mahoning Mountain Road between Route 443 and Berger Creek Road in Mahoning Township from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7-8. The work will require lane restriction with flagging.

*WEISSPORT BRIDGE: Workers will be repairing the bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 8. There will be a lane restriction on the bridge.
