State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a theft incident that happened between Aug. 9 and Sept. 12 in Penn Forest Township.

The victim is 84-year-old Douglas Rudolph of Port Jervis, N.Y.Police said someone entered his property at 215 Meckesville Road in the township and took a washer and dryer without permission after being evicted from a house.Police said the actor is unknown and the investigation is continuing.
